Man Who Spent $14,000 to ‘Become a Dog’ Opens Fantasy Zoo with Jaw-Dropping Entrance Fee

The Canine Dream Turned Reality

In a world full of unique ambitions, one man’s dream has taken a rather extraordinary turn. A YouTuber known as Toco decided to spend an impressive $14,000 to live out his childhood fantasy of becoming a dog.

No, he didn’t magically transform into a pooch, but he did invest in an incredibly realistic dog costume. His desire to embrace the canine lifestyle is so strong that he even participated in an agility course, living out his life in a dog-like mannerโ€”crate and all.

The Advent of Tocotoco Zoo

Now, Toco is inviting others to join him in exploring their wildest animal fantasies. He’s officially opened a unique establishmentโ€”a fantasy zoo aptly named Tocotoco Zoo, located in Japan. This venue is designed to let people experience life as an animal by donning mascot costumes.

Sharing this exciting news on Instagram, Toco expressed his long-held desire: “We are opening a zoo where you can become an animal, where you can make your dream of becoming an animal come true!”

From childhood, Toco dreamed of such an experience, and he’s now making this a reality for like-minded individuals. The concept is simple: at Tocotoco Zoo, visitors can clad themselves in elaborate costumes to momentarily become the animals they’ve always admired.

Becoming an Animal

The zoo, which opened its doors on January 26, offers a rather unique service. Currently, the only available costume is that of an Alaskan Malamute. To enjoy this whimsical experience, aspiring animals need to plan ahead with a reservation made 30 days in advance. The cost? A cool $250 for a half-day in costume.

However, a word of caution: those with less flexible or ‘stiff muscles’ might find slipping into the Malamute suit a bit challenging. Unfortunately, Toco’s personal Border Collie outfit, the original inspiration behind the zoo, isn’t part of the available rental costumes.

Why a Collie?

Why did Toco choose to channel his inner Border Collie? In a past interview, he revealed his fondness for animals that walk on all fours, preferring larger, lovable creatures like dogs for their potential to create a realistic appearance. He explained, “Long-haired dogs can disguise their human body shape, so I chose a collie, which met those criteria and is a breed I’ve always liked.”

With every endeavor, there is a fitting audience, and for those who share Toco’s passion, Tocotoco Zoo offers a tailored escape from reality.

In a world where personal desires take myriad forms, Tocotoco Zoo stands as a testament to the power of chasing one’s dreams, no matter how peculiar they might seem to others.

This thriving business shows that sometimes, embracing unique passions can lead to not just personal fulfillment, but shared joy and community in the most unexpected of ways.
