Donald Trump has enacted a new executive order aimed at imposing further limitations on Trans care for minors across America.
At age 78, he signed the order with the purpose of ‘protecting children from chemical and surgical procedures that could be detrimental’.
This order accuses medical professionals of ‘harming and sterilizing an increasing number of impressionable young individuals under the radical notion that adults can alter a child’s sex through irreversible medical treatments’. It describes this as a ‘dangerous trend’ and expresses a desire to ‘eliminate this mark on our Nation’s history’.
The document states, “Many children later regret these decisions, realizing the heartbreaking reality that they may never conceive children or experience nurturing through breastfeeding. Additionally, these young individuals could face rising medical costs over their lifetimes, as they often endure ongoing medical challenges, battling their bodies and, sadly, experiencing sterilization,” according to the order.
The executive order establishes a policy against federal funding, sponsorship, promotion, assistance, or support for the so-called ‘transition’ of a child from one sex to another and emphasizes strict enforcement of all laws prohibiting or limiting such significant and life-changing interventions.
The term ‘child’ within this order is defined as any American under the age of 19.
Furthermore, the order addresses the ‘use of puberty blockers, including GnRH agonists and other methods to delay or interrupt the natural progression of puberty in individuals not identifying with their birth sex, as well as the application of sex hormones like androgen blockers, estrogen, progesterone, or testosterone, to physically alter appearance in a way that conflicts with birth sex’.
The order also extends to prohibiting ‘surgical procedures aimed at transforming an individual’s physical appearance to align with an identity differing from birth sex or operations intended to alter or remove sexual organs, thereby compromising their natural biological functions’.
