The shocking collapse of a World Trade Centre building hours after the Twin Towers during the 9/11 attacks has long been a source of mystery and speculation.
Even though this particular building was not struck on that fateful 11th of September 2001, it crumbled just hours after the Twin Towers experienced the most devastating terrorist assault the world has ever witnessed.

More than two decades later, the memory of that dreadful day remains etched in our minds, with 2,977 lives tragically taken.
On that day of unimaginable loss, four planes were hijacked by al-Qaeda and deliberately flown into the Twin Towers, the Pentagon in Virginia, and a field in Pennsylvania, after a thwarted attempt aimed at the White House or the Capitol building.
For years, we have repeatedly seen the heartbreaking footage across news outlets and online platforms, serving as a grim reminder of that dire day.
Over time, conspiracy theories have abounded, with countless discussions trying to deduce why the catastrophe unfolded in the manner it did, especially questioning why World Trade Centre Building 7, known for housing key government offices like the CIA and the Department of Defense, collapsed only hours following the initial onslaught.
This separate building, despite being physically untouched by the aircraft, left many puzzled about the cause of its downfall in such a tragic manner. Fortunately, we now have some clarity on the matter.
An extensive investigation conducted over three years by the National Institute of Standards and Technology concluded that the building’s collapse was due to the uncontrolled, intense fires that raged for over six hours. These fires were ignited by debris from the North Tower post-impact.
The entirety of the 9/11 incidents marks one of the most horrendous and unforgettable chapters in human history. It forever changed the world and the way we perceive safety and security, leaving an indelible scar that will be remembered for generations to come.
