Close friend breaks silence on Kate Middleton’s recuperation after abdominal surgery

Kate Middleton recently underwent a planned abdominal surgery, which left many of us concerned about her well-being. The prolonged hospital stay raised questions and speculations in the media. However, what matters most now is that the beloved Princess is taking the necessary time to recuperate in the comfort of her own home.

Following her discharge from the hospital, Kate returned to Adelaide Cottage at the Windsor grounds. This historic home, built in 1831 for Queen Adelaide, has seen many royal residents over the years. In 2015, the cottage underwent a complete renovation, making it an ideal choice for Prince William and Kate.

Interestingly, it is worth mentioning that Harry and Meghan had also considered Adelaide Cottage as their home before settling in Frogmore Cottage. William and Kate chose this residence because it offers their children a more serene and rural environment away from the busy city life in Kensington Palace.

Renovations aside, some concerns have been raised regarding Adelaide Cottage’s suitability for Kate’s recovery. Royal correspondent Michael Cole mentioned that a former tenant described it as “the coldest place she’d ever encountered.” Considering the current cold winter weather, it may not be the best place for Kate to rest and heal.

To ensure a more comfortable recovery period, Kate will be splitting her time between Adelaide Cottage and the royal estate of Sandringham. A close friend of Kate revealed that she is “on the mend” and will be able to relax in Norfolk while William takes care of their children.

Sandringham, known for its peace and tranquility, is also where King Charles finds solace as he undergoes treatment for cancer. Our thoughts and well wishes go out to both Princess Kate and King Charles as they navigate their paths to complete recovery.
