Amy Duggar King Speaks Out Against Her Uncle Jim Bob Duggar

Amy Duggar King, niece of Jim Bob Duggar, is not holding back when it comes to expressing her strong feelings towards her uncle. In a recent TikTok video, Amy revealed that she has lost all respect for Jim Bob, especially when it comes to the safety of her 3-year-old son.

Amy passionately stated, “If you’re not going to protect those beautiful daughters from a predator that was living inside your home and you knew about it, I don’t respect you anymore. And I won’t allow you around my child because I will protect my child at all costs.”

She expressed her disbelief that Jim Bob claimed not to recall his daughters’ abuse when he was put on the stand. Amy firmly believes that something is seriously wrong and that her son needs to be protected from it. She openly criticized her uncle for hiding the abuse and spoke about it in the recent Prime documentary, Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets.

Amy is not alone in speaking out against the family. Jill Duggar Dillard, another victim of her brother Josh’s abuse, also shared her experiences in the documentary. She revealed that her grandparents did not agree with her parents’ decision to have so many children and expressed concerns about her mother’s health.

Moreover, Jill and her husband have different beliefs when it comes to having children, not aligning with the Duggar family’s principles. They admitted that the expectation of having as many children as possible comes from a misinterpretation of biblical teachings.

The revelations about Josh’s abusive actions and the subsequent cancellation of the Duggar family reality show in 2015 brought shame and controversy to the family. Jill admitted that her interview with Megyn Kelly defending Josh was not her choice but rather a decision forced upon her by her father. She felt obligated to speak out in order to protect the show.

As Amy and Jill continue to share their stories, it is evident that they prioritize the safety and well-being of their own children. Their bravery in speaking out against the abuses within their family reminds us of the importance of protecting our loved ones.
